Reflecting on Cisco Live! Melbourne 2024
As I reflect on the incredible experience that was Cisco Live! Melbourne 2024, I am filled with inspiration and excitement from the passion and engagement that resonated throughout every moment of the event. Being there in person reminded me of the vital role human connection plays in driving our tech-enabled world forward.
Highlights from the Keynote
During my keynote, “Go Beyond,” I highlighted how we empower customers to transform by innovating for the future, optimizing for speed and efficiency, and ensuring business resiliency. I shared Cisco’s vision for customer experience and emphasized the importance of making every interaction personalized, proactive, and predictive. If you want to catch up on the CX vision, the replay of the session is now available.
While seeing new technologies come to life is thrilling, delivering a tangible return on investment is what truly matters to our customers. At Cisco Customer Experience, we are committed to achieving this while providing a personal and exceptional journey for all our customers.
One of the most memorable moments for me was celebrating our CX Customer Hero Award winners on stage. These individuals embody Cisco CX’s mission in action, and, as James Turrell shared in his blog, they were honored personally in a dedicated session at the Cisco Live CX stand.
As I concluded my keynote, my message was clear: Nothing compares to the magic of human connection. With our vast network of expertise, Cisco is dedicated to supporting you at every step. Your success is our success, and together, we are ready to Go Beyond.
Taking Centre Stage
One of the key highlights of Cisco Live Melbourne was taking Centre Stage with my colleague, Carlos Pereira. Together, we discussed how Cisco is accelerating infrastructure modernization and building AI execution strategies.
With 98% of organizations feeling the urgency to deploy AI but only 15% being fully equipped, the need for AI-ready infrastructure is critical. Cisco is leading the way with groundbreaking solutions like the Virtual Engineer in TAC, which enhances customer satisfaction, and AI-ready data centers designed for resilience, security, and productivity.
From future-proofing workplaces to enabling digital resilience, we are focused on delivering real business outcomes – faster and more securely.
Connecting with the Community
It was inspiring to meet the Cisco Networking Academy Dream Team at Cisco Live. Their passion for learning and determination is contagious, and I am confident the skills they are developing will leave a lasting impact on the tech industry.
Additionally, we marked 20 years of Cisco’s Pride & Allies community – celebrating progress made while acknowledging the road ahead. Thank you to everyone who participated in this milestone. The diversity, inclusion, and allyship within this community make Cisco stronger and more united.
